初中英语天天练 (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a free English learning application with lessons bundled on your device. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the app. Developer / copyright holder: Jason Chen.

Offline-first product

From version 1.1.0 onward (including 1.2.0), 初中英语天天练 is designed as an offline content app for Chinese junior middle school (grades 7–9). Vocabulary, grammar, bilingual stories, story cinema, Zhongkao exam-point materials, phonics, and related lessons ship inside the app. You can start Day 1 of any book level without creating an account. Learning progress is stored on your device by default.

We do not send your lessons, recordings, or writing to live AI servers for cloud generation, conversation, or pronunciation scoring in this version.

Optional screen-off listen uses on-device text-to-speech and may continue playing while the phone is locked or the app is in the background (system audio session). No lesson audio is uploaded.

Information We Collect

• Optional account information you choose to provide (such as email or username), if you create an account
• Learning progress and study preferences stored on your device
• Optional microphone access for local speaking practice (audio stays on the device in offline mode)
• Basic device and diagnostics data that Apple may provide as part of App Store distribution

Core guest use does not require an account and does not transmit your study data to 初中英语天天练 servers.

How We Use Information

We use on-device information to provide lessons, remember your study day and activity progress, and keep the app working. Optional account features (if you sign in) may store progress associated with that account.

No live AI cloud processing

Earlier versions described optional AI features that sent text or audio to 初中英语天天练’s own servers after in-app consent. Versions 1.1.0 and 1.2.0 disable those live AI features. Speaking practice uses on-device recording and text-to-speech; cloud AI scoring, AI chat, and AI writing feedback are not offered.

We do not send your Apple ID, contacts, photos, or location for AI processing.

Bundled lesson images & attribution

Vocabulary and story cinema images are packaged in the app for offline study. Many vocabulary icons use Twemoji graphics (© Twitter, Inc. / X Corp., licensed under CC BY 4.0). Other images are public-domain / CC0 materials or simple images generated locally for the app. You can also open Image credits in the app Profile tab. Using the app does not send image-browsing activity to third-party image hosts.

Free App & Purchases

初中英语天天练 is free to download and use for core learning. If optional paid features are introduced later, purchase processing is handled by Apple; we do not store your full payment card details.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Hosting and delivery of this marketing website may use infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare. Those providers process technical request data under their own terms to operate the site.

Data Retention

On-device learning data remains until you delete the app or clear app data. If you create an account, we retain account data while it is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data.

Children

初中英语天天练 is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.

Your Choices

You can use core lessons without creating an account. Microphone permission is optional and only needed for speaking practice. If you create an account, you may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.
